The company has received 40 reports of fire due to deterioration of the burners, with 23 reports of the lids catching on fire. The defective grills were sold at Lowe’s stores in the U.S. and Canada from September 2005 through May 2009.
Consumers are advised to stop using the defective grills immediately and contact LG Sourcing at 888-840-9590 to receive free replacement burners or replacement lids.
