German Company Recalls 9HP Transmissions Impacting 500,000 Vehicles in the United States
The German transmission manufacturer ZF is recalling its 9HP nine-speed automatic transmission impacting more than 500,000 vehicles in the United States alone. The transmission can force the car to unexpectedly shift gears into neutral. This is the second time in just one year that the company has been forced to issue the recall for transmission defects.
