The derailment of the Siler Line train outside of a Washington DC suberb is being blamed on defective rail ties and tracks that were “too far apart.”  The National Transportation Board announced the early findings on Wednesday.  The derailment happened at the East Falls Church station platform on July 29 and injured three people.
